Set in a run-down teachers’ centre the play highlights the petty squabbles, tensions and disappointments of a group of teachers who have come together to moderated scripts at exam time. Led by the incompetent Howard, the team struggle through cock-ups and personal intrigues, fuelled with Danish pastries and cups of tea. How will they cope with the mounds of Wordsworths and All’sWells?
